My client is a regular importer of goods from abroad.
He discovered that the PAN number of his business concern is not correct in the records of customs. IEC code is PAN based - He needs to correct the PAN in the records
How do he do that ? Please clarrify.

can ur client provide their IEC CODE NO. AND NAME OF THIER COMPANY? so that i can possible to understand the said matter.
FOR CORRECTION IN THEPAN CARD , IEC CODE PRESCRIBED FORM ANF-2A . AND SUBMIT IN CONCERNED DGFT,
a fee of Rs.200 may be paid in form of demand draft.

Hi Dear,
You should apply for Modification In IEC Details in prescribed format anf-02a alongwith original IEC (if wrong details appears on that IEC Certifi.), Copy of PAN, 2 Photographs, Bank Certifi. (If your photo was not affixed on IEC Certifi.).
