Iec code

Compliance is required when any transaction such as import or export has taken place in the IEC code.

No returns or filing is required to any authority as the validity for teh IEC is life time.

However, in case any change in the Name / Address or Constitutiton of IEC holder, the IEC holder shall cease to be eligible to import ot Export against the IEC after expiry of 90 days from the date of such change unless the consequential changes are effected in the IEC by concerned Licensing Authority by applying Modifications in IEC. 

No returns is to be filed to the DGFT.

@ time of issuance any import licence exporter importer mandatory mentioned their turnover in appropriate column.
