I have an IEC code registered in my firm's name for jewellery export and i am registered as a Merchant exporter under it. I would want to know if i could even export Iron Ore under the same IEC code or then i would have to apply for any changes/modifications or then cancel this licence and apply for a fresh code..?? i would be glad if i got some guidance..

Yes u can use it.
IEC stand for Import Export Code Certificate issued by the Director General of Foreign trade registering an individual, firm, organization, entity, etc as an Exporter or Importer.
irrespective Of this query YOU must export or import ,pls Noted you will be ADMISSIBLE for various incentive Notified by DGFT.
