hi friends...i have 4 years of experience in banking and i have cleared jaiib and caiib exams....now i want to do ICWAI certification....can u people tell me how much time it wil take for me to complete this certification and what is the procedure...entrance exams.....please provide help friends..also i have done my graduation in B.E

Hi Rahul,

As you are already a grad, you will be required to register yourself directly to Inter Stage (3papers x 2 groups = 6 papers). After clearing Inter, you will have to resgister for Finals (4 papers x 2 groups = 8 papers).

If you choose to take each group of each stage one by one, and considering that you clear all of them in one go, you are likely to take close to 3 years.

hi rahul...thanks a lot for your reply...i am from banking industry and i have also cleared jaiib and caiib certifications...and i am from engineering background....so does this makes any difference to how much time will it take me to do t his certification?

Great job Wow, you are a bank employee and cleared JAIIB and CAIIB, and BE too, Congrats to you...

First good news for you is, you will get exemption from 3 yrs practical training,

as you are graduate, you can directly register to Inter, its of 6 subjects, if you register before 5th June 2012, you can write Dec'12 exams,

If Inter 2 groups, need 9 months gap, and can write Final exams by dec'13, and you need to finish 15 days modular training, thats it.., I am sure, you can easily achieve it..

hello madam...thanks for the details...are there any exceptions provided for people who have cleared jaiib & caiib..and engineering background people?

also is there any entrance exam we have to give for taking up this course??

sorry no exemption is available on basis of Jaiib or caiib, or engr.. , and you dont need any entrance exam, can join directly ICWA inter,

If you register by 5th June, and clear in first attempt, you may finish final exams by Dec'13, later 15 days modular trng you need to finish...

I dont have any work ex, Can i write CWA final without the three year articleship?

@ shashikiran, you can appear for final exams, but you have to finish 3 years practical training to get the certificate, and you can join training anytime after registering for cwa Inter... From Dec'13 exams, one should complete minimum 6 months training to appear for final exams.
