As per new circular how many years does the final student undergo training? Is there any exemption? 6months and 1year is still not clear.

If you are from Syllabus 2008 then you would have to complete 6 months of practical training before applying for exams but this is from DEC 2012 exam onwards. If you have already done training somewhere of 6 months or more and if you can get it approved from ICWAI then yo will be eligible for exemption.

If you are from Syllabus 2002, then you need not loose sleep over this circular as this does not pertains to students from 2002 Syllabus.

Thanks Anubhav. But  as  I am from 2008 batch I would like to know, what do they mean by one year?

a student under 2008 syllabus must register for 1  year practical training after inter in order to appear for final exam from dec 2012 term exams.student should complete 6 months training on or  before 31 march for june term and september 30for dec term
