ICWA or Part time MBA (FMS)

hi archana....well m not an expert but let me share my view.. c CWA now ask for articalship ...so r u ok wid dat??...CFA can be a gud combo.. but again der commences a new ? n dats CFA 4m ICFAI or CFA US...so my pic wud wud be MBA (if it is 4m Faculty of Mgmt Studies Delhi)...if i m in ur position den i vl go MBA...n earn a bit n den (as i m interested in Financial Mgmt)vl go 4 CFA (US)....well by d time u can understand d world bettr....tc

 my attempt also in may 2011. u must go for mba  from  reputed college. its best 4 u.

you can appred and clear your ICWA exam without completing your traning. there is some exemption too. for example, you can do job. plz visit student section at www.icwai.org

if u get into MBA FMS ....then u must do it...other wise there are many other certifications courses like CFP,IFRS,CIA,CIDA

i Would say the part time MBA from FMS.

hi.. i would like to suggest u something different from the options which u have asked. consider CMA from IMA (US) or CIMA (UK). CMA from IMA will take very short duration to complete and if u appear for it from a center other than India then u can directly get membership of ICWAI. Nepal and Bangladesh are very near by centers. Or there is CIMA which will take 2 years but it's reputation is very good in the market n is considered one of the best Global qualifications. CIMA is not only about accounting but it covers management n finance as well. please check out the details of these two courses as well.

Duration

The minimum course duration as per the regulations of the respective institutions is

• CA PE-II

  - 10 months

• CWA ICWA Inter

  - 12 months

• CS Inter

  - 10 months

While:  The CFA requires a three-part test, which is not that easy. Math is a good major for it.
