Orientation Program on
INTERNAL AUDIT OF STOCK BROKERS / CLEARING /TRADING MEMBERS

Introduction
|
The Securities & Exchange Board of India vide Notification No. MIRSD/ DPSIII/ Cir-26/ 08 dated 22nd August 2008 and subsequent Notification No. MRD/DMS/Cir-29/2008 dated 21st October 2008 decided that stock brokers / trading members / clearing members shall carry out complete internal audit on a half yearly basis inter alia, by company secretaries in practice. The first half year period would start from October 2008.
ICSI – CCRT is organising this orientation program to familiarise the Members with the intricacies and responsibilities in carrying out this Internal Audit.
