should I have to clear a group to start the training?I am registered in old course.

no not required . before joining articles you must have been complte the training whether it is before clearing exams or after clearing exams. But as per amended rules after completion of any of the group u will eligible to join articles . prior to the amend u must pass group 1 and then only u eligible to join articles . I hope u understood
