We know that ICAI is an accounting regulator of country. Only the associates of ICAI may be engaged to audit of Corporate house to ensure proper accounting. As per my views the accounting function of country is not going well due having non qualified manpower in so many organisations/companies specially in Govt of India enterprises. The development of RTI and demand of social audit shows that the auditing function is not going well. The ICAI may think on the subject and may try to ensure qualified accountants in corprate houses/Govt of India enterprises and may ensure proper implementation of rules and regulation through proper audit of accounts.
DEAR GUPTHA, I TOO A FINAL STUDENT AND ICAI NEVER SPEAKS ON THAT. ALSO THE ACCOUNTACY IS ART AND ONE CAN GAIN KNOWLEDTGE BY PRACTICE. HENCE IN NO OF GOVT. FIRMS NO CA IS ENGAGED. SAY FOR EG. INDIAN RLY.,,WHERE CRORES OF FUNDS ARE DALILY TRANSACTED UPON AND IS SEEMS NO QUALIFED CA ARE EMPLOYED.
