I decided to move to Dubai a few years ago so I took some specific actions. These actions and the positioning of my resume provided more than a few opportunities. Primarily the goal was to increase income and lifestyle but also for international exposure to enrich my career. I still live and work in Dubai and it has its pros and cons.

I wonder what other professionals, experienced individuals and recent graduates think about their careers. Do you plan to move outside India for exposure or career enrichment?

The Verdict: Relocating to Dubai remains an outstanding choice for early-to-mid career professionals wanting quick international exposure, structural savings, and exposure to global corporate networks.
The Strategy: Given the rising living costs and the complex local tax compliance environment (Corporate Tax & VAT), professionals shouldn't jump purely for a "higher number." A move is only viable if the offer accounts for inflation, housing realities, and provides long-term strategic growth that outperforms India's current high-growth market curve.
