whether the refund is deposited in the bank?

hi

No, I have'nt mark refund to be received by way of ECS. when i enquired about it to help centre they were telling that you had put wrong account no.

Send an application to ITO, CPC Banglore telling them that neither refund received nor any intimation asking for bank details is received. take a print out of the online staus & attach with your application. Do give bank details(A/c no. MICR, Name of bank) & attach a cancelled cheque with the letter.

You need to file online rectification through the income tax e-filing portal, i.e. incometaxindiaefling.gov.in

While creating the rectification xml file, you need to change the bank details in the return form. Accordingly, after online submission of rectification, the website will generate a form called "bank account change authorisation". You need to take a print out of it and send a signed copy of the same to CPC Bangalore alongwith a cancelled cheque of the new bank account mentioned in the rectification. After it is verified by the CPC, the dept will grant the refund in the new bank account.

Hi

You need to login through Income Tax e-filing portal and go to My Account and click Response Sheet for CPC Refund Received Status. Then you fillup the sheet with correct data and send the same to CPC Bangalore.

Thanks,

Bikramjit

Hi,

I have to receive 40,000 frm IT. But they gave only 14,000, because of wrong calculations. I filed a online rectification on their site on month of Jan. Till now I ddint hear anything from them. Please suggest how to handle this situation. I am thinking of filing RTI against them.

thanks,

Bish
