I m in a huge dilemma... pls help!

508 views 1 replies

I ve completed my CA this november exam... Now working with India Pistons...

I ve got an offer from my old firm to join as partner in his firm. I no i ll not be paid much (at the most i ll be paid Rs. 25,000 all inclusive- as against straight away 50K+ in industry)... but my passion is only to practice...

While some people advice me to join straight away considering long term benefits, some others say i m too young for practice (i m 22 btw)... they say i m better off getting experience in industry... plus i get to no of a lot of contacts etc, that can improve my chances in practice...

One thing is sure- i see myself practicing after 3 yrs...

My question s only this: should i join practice straight away, or continue with industry for 2-3 yrs so that i get some experience and contacts... does such experience really count at all for practicing?

Pls help... i m in a huge dilemma!!!
