I forgotten to file form 10e ?

Dear Sir I forgotten to file form 10E for the AY 2016-17 and ITR Processed ,Further Demand raised to the extent of relief amount with interest later I filed Form 10 E it is successfully filed Please give any suggestion , Thank you in advance

Sir,

You have to file form 10E to claim relief u/s 89(1) and then file revise return, but filling of revised return is possible is only if you have filed orginal return u/s 139(1) i.e. with in due date.

As the filing of 10 E is also completed at your end , now file a rectification request quoting the details of arrears and relief.

Sir,

In my case ITR AY 2019-20 filed but forgot to file Form 10E and now demand has been raised. Since the time limit of filing the revised return lapsed. How should someone file a Form 10E for the said AY and claim no demand.
