I do not have vat / service tax registration. how to get gst

Dear friends,

i do not have registered for VAT or service tax. i run e-commerce business on Amazon / flipcart. they are demanding GST number. 

How to get it. do i need to get registered for VAT first to get GST number?

what is the procedure to register a fresh for gst without registering for service tax or vat.

first u have to get vat registration and then migration to gst..now migration time period almost over..in gst irrespective of turnover e commerce operator required to registered

so how to register for GST now if migration period is over. i have started business this month only.
