NO you  will not be rejected on the age ground. If you discontinued your studies then you must have industrial exposure.

Take my case, I discontinued my studies because of several failure and start doing job in industry, but CCI become my source of inspiration and I start my studies again. Now I am married and having two daughters still I think that I can crack the examination.

The main drawback of age factor is that it becomes too hard to succed in one go, another is that yes the start you get after clearing the course may not be good but you can overcome it by your experience and work.

CHEERS! there is no upper age limit, trouble/hurdels may come take them positively and become an example for others.

if you have faith in your abilities then go for it.and it is a very viable option.Many people clear their ca exams at a very later stage of their lives and are still doing well.

in my opinion "Age is an excuse"  No matter what is your age.. you can go for CA. I can understand your health problems but still you can give it a try but with full dedication

Even my father is at 53 yr but still he is planning to go for CA.

same thing i am facing, i have just appeared for CA IPCC group 1...my age is 24...me confused also...

if u have'nt done master degree u can enroll for it ....another very good option is ICWA ....

dont wory with age barriers. CA is a professinal qualification nd y u bother abt going for job,, u can pratice as a CA very well,,so that u can be independant in ur life...dnt think abt job nly...

dont study for passing the exam, but for an academic purpose..

ur age is not a prob for studies, pass out and for practice also...

also like what Gandhiji says close ur doors of heart when any suggeation come from outside that make u pessimistic....

stay in study with the aim of CA,,,nd not the suggestion from peoples. ok..

You are a young man and matured than others.It is good time to go for a Matured CA.

There is lot of scoop in Govt. Jobs upto 35 years and there no age limit for proffesionals in private sectors.
