I am CA Final student..... I asked for transfer from my principal in september when he refused to sign form 109. Now i am going to complete 1st year of my articleship on 5th of march2008.... Can he refuse me now after completing one year? What can I do if he refuses again? Please tell me some way as i am really fed up..... Please i really need your suggestions my friends.... Plz any way i can get transfer please ur ideas are welcome and will be appretiated

Dear Ankit, transfer of articleship is mutual consent i.e. both parties, artile trainee and principal should agree for this. You must have one valid reason for transfer of articleship. If your reason is genuine and vaild ground principal can not deny your transfer. If principal denied you can contact regional or central board of study or secretary of ICAI. Definitely they will help u.

Dear Ankit, If your reason is genuine in lines of ICAI criteria and not to do dummy in future, your principal can't refuse it, else his refusal is justified.
