u should take coaching classes

You have to first register yourself for the course at ICAI institute in your city. They will give you the study material .It doesnt matter were u r from in this course

You should buy 11th and12th std books for proper understanding of accounts, Economics and other subjects. It is not that difficult many students had done it before from science strem

For CPT study material is enough

Hi Naresh... Basically ICAI is an independent body formed under a parliamentary Act. for doing ca, u have to register only with ICAI... ICAI has branches all over India, and procedure for registering and appearing in exams is the same all over the country.. So, there is no difference in any branch, be it Delhi or Mumbai or any other branch...

Further, u have to first register yourself with the institute and collect the study material (it will be the same that u have downloaded, subject to a few updations), then u can start preparing for CPT... U can either do self study, or you can join coaching classes. For coaching classes you will probably have a wide choice... These are usually private coaching classes; u will have check out for a good one in your locality....

For appearing for Dec 11 exam, you will have to submit exam application form, probably 2 months before exams... For last date of submitting forms follow ICAI website regularly...

Passing criteria for the exams is 100 marks out of 200 marks and score above 140 will considered distinction... And 10 all India ranks will be awarded.... There will also be negetive marking in the exams...

Try to just concentrate on the basics of all subjects... other things will be very simple...

BY YOUR WORDS I THINK YOU HAVE STRONG DESIRE. IT DOES'NT MATTER FROM WHICH STREAM YOU ARE.. FOR CA ONLY HARD WORK IS NEEDED.. THERE ARE STUDENTS WHO CAME FROM MATHS AND COMMERCE FIELDS. STILL THEY FAILED MANY TIMES. 

FIRST THING YOU NEED A PARTICULAR GUIDANCE FROM EXPERTS AND CCI IS ALWAYS THERE TO HELP SUCH TYPE OF STUDENTS. YOU HAVE NOT MENTIONED FROM WHERE YOU ARE. BY THAT WE CAN SAY WHICH INSTITUTES ARE BEST.. 

ONE ADVANTAGE POINT IS FOR YOU IS- PREVIOUSLY THE RULE FOR CPT IS TO ENTER ONLY FOR COMMERCE BACK GROUND STUDENTS. IF THAT RULE EXISTED YOU NEED TO WASTE TWO MORE YEARS.. LUCKLY THE RULE HAS BEEN REMOVED.. 

PARTICULARLY MENTION YOUR DOUBTS. BY THAT WE CAN CLEAR ALL YOUR DOUBTS..

just follow the books provided by ICAI n focus on the curriculum of B.Com I year also....it helps a Science background student alot.......being a Science Student a know what ur condition is.......n ya coaching classes are also needed as u wanna top.......sirf paas hone ke liye to self studies hi kafi hain
