what should i do if hsn and sac code is not available?
how can i treat this in annual return9 and 9c
HSN and SAC code is mandatory while filing GSTR-9 if turnover for the year exceeds 1.5 crores.
However for purchases, only those HSN or SAC codes for which expenditure is more than 10% to be reported.
In GSTR-9C, HSN or SAC details are not required.
Since GSTR-9 id the return filed by assessee, he can do filing even without those details but tomorrow you may get notice for non disclosure whoch has to be explained accordingly.
