deduction is available only for 10 months. the exemption limit u/s 10 of HRA depends on place, rent paid, HRA received. if any of the said factor change then calculation will be made separately. that's make computation first for 10 months and there is no need to calculate for remaining two months as no HRA received-noexemption.
