We have surrendered the VAT nummber about 6-7 yeare back for our registered company. Now we are in a need to furbish evidence of date of surrender of VAT. Can someone help me with the procedure to generate an e-receipt for surrender of VAT if any, or the correct procedure to get a copy of the date of the surrender.

you can visit dvat website
Go to dealer credentials
then search your TIN no. , it will show cancelled
you can take print of that as a proof

Thanks for sharing this. However, this only shows the status 'cancled' but no date of surrender of VAT is published. I was looking for a way to get the date too. All help is appreciated. Thanks
that would have been possible with Dvat 09 that is filed at time of surrender.
