In the Board meeting for approving the audited accounts, approal of directors report, noting of auditors report and other items....we wish to take approval from the board to appoint Mr. ABC (who is currently WTD) as MD.
My question is - should I take this matter ahead of all other items in the agenda so that in the Directors Report I may designate that WTD as MD? or Should I wait for the approval in annual general meeting in which case I will have to retain the old designation of Mr. ABC as WTD only??
