How to Unprotect the Password Protected Sheets

Hi,

I m daily reader of this CA Club, i found a tendancy in the excel posts specially, people protect the sheets with passwords.

I don't know why, if you really want to share something on the club you should not protect with password. agar aisi baat hai to Share karo hi na apna GYAN.

its very irritating. many times i wish to use the formulas used in the sheets shared at this site, but found than password protected.

that makes limited use of those shared information / knowledge.

I want to appeal in this CACLUB while you share any file with this club, that should not be protected.

this is my humble request.

(Please note: I found a addins on the internet which unprotect the protected sheet in seconds. i am shairing this with you here it is)

Just o download the zip file

unzip and open the file "password.xla"

enable macros

a pop up will come saying "password remover now loaded"

Choose 'unprotect workbook' on the tools menu to 'unprotect workbook'

Choose 'unprotect sheet' on the tools menu to 'unprotect sheet'

just click on "ok"

now open the excel file whose sheets you need to unprotect

go to tools menu & unprotect sheet.
