I am not able to enter No to the question , Whether you area a Director of a Company, in ITR 2, 2023
A prop-up window says , the cell is protected. And I don't have a Password to open it
No other cells are protected
please advise

There as many such bugs in ITR 2 utility. Pass through the stage for once. Complete other schedules, then try to validate. Some of the left out such errors gets reflected and allowed to be rectified, but not all.
Log out without filing and re-login. Open the ITR again. You may be allowed to rectify many.
Hope by this hit & trial method you get final error free ITR uploaded; otherwise wait for its upgradation.
