How to study financial reporting

I can't recommend u a time table as u r d best person to manage ur time bt i would like to share a statergy 2 cover d portion 

 First cover d non accounting standerds  chapters like- Value Added Statement, Eva , Valuation of goodwill, shs, business, brand , & mutual funds...these chapts will surly come for atleast 24 marks & can go to even 36 marks..these chapters are nt too deep or say hard in compare to accounting standerds & very easy 2 score also.

thn come to accounting standrds like - As 28, 22, 20, 19,16,29, 26, 15, 17, 18, 24, 25.

After that  do amalgamation & thn holding co.these 2 chaps will surly come bt the issue is these chaptes is they are very leanthy chapts & even u knw thm well thy will consume max time in xam hall..so it is always better 2 hav a hold on abovesaid chapts first thn come to these chapters.

atlast do the remaining accounting stands & guideline notes (Revised schd VI is most imp of thm).

Regarding books Praveen Sir Notes are beyond any doubts are good bt also ref to practice manual , rtps & sugested ans.

thanks alot, will follow the order suggested by you.  this time i am scared because this is going to be my third attempt and i do not want to loose it..

i am thinking of leaving the holding chapter as that will be lenghty and difficult also . please advice can i do so.

sabse phele darna band karo..aap jitna daroge yeah course aapko aur jada darayega..take it as any other exam..look u had seen failure rite..nothing cant be more worst thn tht..so y to worry abt smthing u had already experience ...ab jo hoga accha hi hoga..

& abt leaving holding wala chap thn personaly i dont suggest 2 leave any of the chap bt ultimately it shd be ur call...N if atall u r leaving it thn do the rest of the chap very well...all d best
