read news papers,have a Dictionary and watch good TV Channels like NDTV,BBC .I am telling You because I studied only in an ordinary state board schoolin chennai the only privilege i had is i sudied in Metro but i am also very poor in English conversation but doing those above mentioned exercises have proved a lot participate in this ca club forum that also will help you by all means.All the best
