Step 1
turn off your t.v. unplug your phone, turn off you cell, shut down your computer and lock your door. Light your favorite incense and a few blue or white candles in your bath room, and turn the lights down. And turn on some calming music if you like.
-
Step 2
Have your favorite gown and a towel (of course) ready and fill your tub with luck warm water. (trust me you'll get used to it)
-
Step 3
Climb in and move your arms around a bit as you get used to the water. Now pull your head under and hold your breath just until you feel uncomfortable. Listen to the silence. Pull your head out of the water, close your eyes and imagine that you are in a small pool beneath a gentle waterfall. The pool is washing away every worry and thought. If a thought enters your mind just let it drift away again. Don't try to block it out or resist it. Don't hold on to it or add to it. Don't let your thoughts engage you. When you feel more relaxed step out and towel off gently. Slip on your gown or shorts and go to your bed. Close your eyes and focus on letting your thoughts pass by you.
