how to read sfm subject
as iam not good in sfm paper so please advice me how to cover this paper so that I will able to appear in may 2018 exam. I don't want to fail this time for that I want to clear my basics and cover all chapters with self study.

Firstly go through easy topic like merger acquition, dividend, mutual fund, capital budgeting, lease, portfolio, factoring and security analysis. It covers lot of in the exam. If you have left time after above do forex topic one of the easyone.
latest PM and any other book issued by icai should be referred thoroughly...give regular tests to track your performance..u will surely succeed
@ Subha, experts has given their suggestions which I do agree. Along with that write down all formula/solution formats in rough sheets, keep this with you always and visit these pages when you are free, which helps to store formula/solution formats in your mind for longer period.
I will suggest to make a separate register of formulae where everything about a particular topic must be written in very short with all formulae, so that it will be easy for you to revise in exam day and do revise that book frequently in fifteen days
Also do proper reading of theory parts as it is also of good importance
Rest understand the concept, dont try to learn things ,try to understand and gradully build your concepts
