first of all downlaod any software like "winrar or winzip" then
select the folder and click right button of the mouse then click extract here option......

you can also protect a file/folder with password using WINRAR.

Please remember that anyone still can delete the winrar archive . You can also add more files to the archive just by dragging it to the archive . Select the 'encrypt file name' option if you dont want others to see the file names. There are lot of other options which you will learn by using it !
