This is varun. I m persuing for article ship. My ca final attempt is due in May 2007 and i m planning for both groups. I want to know how should i prepare for ca final exams, as i hardly gots 2 to 3 hrs in a day. I am asking here the strategy tht i should follow. Also what are the topics which weights more marks and can be prepared in less time for example like Ajay Jain Sir class. It's not possible for me to go for private coaching of all the subjects.

accounts Padhuka notes, D.S.Rawat for accounting standards.
FM module + theory do all self exam questions of module
audit do notes of aagam publishers + rawat for AAS + module for chapters not coverd in notes but notes cover a large variety than the bulky module. go 4 it.
law handbook on corporate laws by munish bhandari it is handbook not textbook it appears like a workbook if u do it fully u can get more then 70 marks for sure.
Costing do module thoroughly n do theory self exam questions + other questions also
do theory very well it is very scoring n moreover comes in combination woth practical q's so u have to attempt it

direct tax T.N. manoharan is best
indirect tax do scanner suggested and bangar n bangar.
if u complete all above + suggested for accounts n Fm u can even think of a rank. understand the concepts.
