Hello

I am CA IPCC student Attempt May 2013... I have completed my Accounts and VAT portion...

Now Can anyone give me some TIPS and Suggestions regarding how to prepare for INCOME TAX ?

Please also refer me

Name of some Good BOOKS (except Singhania - I have already tried that book) ...
Easy and Difficult Portion of INCOME TAX ...
Time Management for Every Chapter ...
And Any Other Relevant Suggestion ...

Note : I am not taking any Coaching Classes for TAXATION...

Please also tell me Is BOOK for INCOME TAX by MK GUPTA Sufficient , because I downloaded SoftCopy of his BOOK from his website and I liked it VERY MUCH .... Should I Purchase Hard Copy of his BOOK or not ??

If you feel that you are understanding better from MK Gupta's book you can go for it. I prepared from T N Manoharan's book and also Padhuka's book is also fine. What I felt from Padhuka is that you can learn the concepts through example problems very nicely, for that it is well and good that you know the concepts on hand.

Whichever book you start to follow just prepare that one book thoroughly, never skip to another book in the middle of the first book. At the end of every chapter solve ICAI Institute's Practice Manual. This is would be very helpful for your preparation.
