ICAI has now made compulsory for CA. students pursuing their article ship to maintain E-diary to keep training records.Can anybody give me the link for the same.Please give the detailed information as to where to record ,what to record etc. I will be thankful for your reply.

ICAI as never even informed us. How are we supposed to know?
I got my query resolved. As per ICAI clarification ediary has not been made compulsory. It is in process,

Work Diary
It is meant for training records to ascertain progress of the trainees. A format of the Work Diary is given in Annexure III of the Training Guide which includes inter alia details of work undertaken and training received and a Summary of the various Training Programmes — professional as well as self-development attended by an articled assistant. This Diary is to be prepared by the trainee and should be confirmed by the MIT/Principal.

yes it will be effective from may 2012 but will be made compulsory from july 2012 as said in the President's message.
