I received Notice under u/s 245 which pertains to demads for AY 2004-2005, 2007-08 and AY 2008-09. I did not receive the corresponding inimations either by email or post. I had used e-filing for the last two of the above three asssessment years.
On the e-filing website, initiations from AY 10 onwards are available. How do I get the old initimations?

Notice u/s 245 means AO has the right to retrieve the tax shortfall of those years from present year's refund.
Upto AY 2007-08 they took physical copies of Tax credits i.e Challans and Form 16 /16A. But from 2008-09 they are relying only on 26AS.
If you have copy of tax credits for above years go and show it to your AO. The AO will ask you to submit it to AAYAKAR seva kendra . You have to write the no of pages and ur Mobile no on forwarding letter . A Computer sticker [acknowledgement ] will be puton ur copy. You need to wait for sometime. So that the issue is addressed. Take a copy of ITR-V of those years also
