If I want to know whether an assesee has filed return or not, what is the procedure? I can provide any details like PAN No., Assessment Year, Registered Address of the assessee etc.
In case of E-filing, I can find out by going to: 'ITR-V Receipt Status' in the incometaxindiaefiling website. Is there also any other way?
And is there any chance I can know if an assessee has filed any manual return?
