How to fill Form 10-IE for last FY?

Hello,

I filled out ITR4 and opted for the new regime in FY 2020-21. For 2021-22, I switched back to the old regime but didn't fill out Form 10-IE (I didn't get any errors or demands for this).

Now for 2022-23, I want to continue with the old regime, however, I am prompted to enter the Form 10-IE details for 2021-22 which I don't have.

How do I sort out this situation? Any help would be appreciated.

This discussion addresses a user's confusion regarding Form 10-IE for the last financial year. The user switched between tax regimes and failed to file Form 10-IE for FY 2021-22, now facing issues when trying to file for FY 2022-23. Advice suggests navigating the '10E Schedule' in the ITR portal, selecting 'yes', and entering previous year details, or potentially filing a revised ITR if the new regime was withdrawn.

It's not there as I haven't filed it for FY 2021-22

Just click the 10E schedule and select yes and enter the previous year details.

You withdraw the new scheme and you have the option file Revised ITR

Thanks for your prompt response. Where do I find "10E Schedule" in the ITR portal?

Yes. In ITR data entry.

You may get previous 10E details from view filed forms
