How to comply with inc 22a?

As per INC 22A, a company needs to provide two photographs - one for the exterior of the building along with company nameboard and the other for the interior of the building along with a director. But if the company nameboard is not present in the exterior of the building, then how should that company comply with INC 22A? If a company is registered using an address in a coworking space, does that mean that company cannot comply with INC 22A? Or is it like company nameboard is not mandatory to be present in the photograph of the exterior of the building? Any help will be much appreciated.

As per rules a Company must have its name board at its registered office. if you are not having please affix the same. photo with the board is compulsory as per the Companies Act. Even after before this amendment you have to have your registered office within 15 days/30 days from the date of registration. Photo with name plate is must.

Thank you all for your responses. I do have nameboard of company in the registered office. But it is kept inside the building and not visible from the exterior of the building (i.e. part of the building which is visible from the roadside). But if one enters the building, the nameboard will be visible. I was wondering how to comply with INC 22A in that case.

As per Section 12 3 (a) of CA's Act 2013

"paint or affix its name, and the address of its registered office, and keep the same painted or affixed, on the outside of every office or place in which its business is carried on, in a conspicuous position, in legible letters, and if the characters employed therefor are not those of the language or of one of the languages in general use in that locality, also in the characters of that language or of one of those languages".

We have choices to place the name board i.e outside of the office or inside of the office is it?

When it is clearly written as outside office. how can you have option. have the details outside your premises.

Outside of every premises which belongs to your company... must have affixed board with details of registered office... (Bhai ab please ye mat puchna konse color ka)
