How to avoid SUm formula on hide cells

instead of sum use Subtotal(9,range)

thanks. i tried and cudn't succeed. so pls clear me with an example.

WElcome its learning for all of us even i did not know about Subtotal 109,  but the Subtotal 9 is used where cells get hidden in filtering the cells ,cheers keep learning
