How satisfied you're with your stipend?

Stipend is something no one is happy with... I was in a small firm in Kolkata with normal working hours and minimum stipend while a good friend of mine who was in one medium large firm in Kolkata was also equally dissatisfied with stipend she used to get despite huge oustations and long working hours.

    To be fair stipend is only a small fraction of actual working hours for an article.

    Another problem is its very difficult for a student to save their stipend even if they don't take private tuitions...we have 18 percent gst on broadband which doesn't help things at all.

Lastly mcs and aicitss are way too expensive considering the minimum stipend and most students still have to ask their parents for fees to these courses.

   I have completed articleship in month of August this year so I shared my views on the 3 years of articleship.

Good Insights. What do you suggest, whether minimum stipend should be increased? Also, Insititute should come up with better guidelines for Articleship Trainees to create equality of rights and responsibilities? 

Its useless to expect increase in minimum stipend because institute already doubled it in the recent past.
