I found in traces in my portal there are some demand from the department, if I made payment and filed correction statement with such demand , if there are possible to increase demand amount later for particular statement. For Example I found in F.Y. 2012-13 in 4 quarter a demand of Rs. 400 was pending. my question is how much I have to pay Rs. 400.00 or any extra interest amount have to be added such amount. If I made a payment of Rs. 400 and filled correction statement, there will be any chance to again raise any demand for particular statement. Please suggest

Yes, a new demand will be raised by closing older demand, for the amount of interest payable for the outstanding.
