Can a legal entity possess PAN number department-wise?
There are two bills issued by two separate departments of Mumbai Port Trust having two different PAN number.

Never, PAN is only one for each person.
Oneof my frend boss have 6 pan card in different diferrent cities like mumbai, kalkatta, gujarat.
Hi Mr.Hemang Shah ask your friend to surrender the PAN cards.Advise him to keep only one PAN.It is offensive and the penalty is leviable for holding more than one card.

they have diff corporate identity for diff divisions, so diff pan id

today or tomorrow he will face the hardship of department for having more than one pan number, so before that he has to surrender all extra pan number, except one he wish to have.
