well,if u join j.gupta thn must be read ful syllabus of dt thn join(i think u get ma point wat i realy want 2 tell)

for idt -vivek soni is gud bt u hav another option is e-10 by ca rajkumar sir

@ ka @ meeni ..do you mean tht he will not start from the basics ,actually i did little search , he is a very known sir in kolkata, and tht was d reason i was thnking about him. have u studied frm him , plz elaborate a little ..

@ Shafey Joysesh Gupta Sir is very good for DT and for IDT you may refer the Banger's book.

If You wanna Exam Clear a One Shot (I Mean to Say From Exam Prospective) Then Go for Vivek Soni for Both DT & IDT.

If You Wanna Very Detail One Knowledge Then Go for VG Vinod Gupta Satellite Based.

& For IDT You Can Go for Eten RajKumar.

Overall, I Suggest You to Go for Vivek Soni for Both.

Jayesh Gupta is a very good and experienced teacher. You can join him for Direct Taxes

You can Join Jayesh gupta's Sir classes but for ur betterment you must read at home, what is taught by your teacher in your class, cuz DT syllabus is very vast.

I think any teacher will do as long as you have interest in the subject and ready to give some time to the subject. A teacher is enough to give you the basic idea and rest you can do it yourself by reading and discussing with your friends.

yes agree...self study is more imp. all teachres is good

The best way to study DT & IDT is self study and atten some good crash course for clarifications post self studies.

For me jayesh gupta's classes were one of the worst classes ever.He teaches simple things in a complicarted way and will confuse you an scare you to the core.

Nobody can challenge the credential or expertise of Mr. Jayesh Gupta.

He has been at the helm of Tax tuitions since long. Beside being a very good teacher he is a very wise man. his insights about life and other issues are incomparable. a motivational speaker, a graet orator,  and a great teacher, that man has really got some class. 

From my personal experience i can tell you that Jayesh sir is a good choice for tax tuition. But just going through what i said won't serve your purpose. you need to identify your requirements. what do you need as a student, what kind of teaching style suits you. whether you can manage IDT by yourself or you need DT & IDT both. 

And needless to say, your sucess is dependent on your own efforts. take my word, jayesh sir will not fall short in teaching  anything.

Moreover you will keep on hearing different opinions from different students. But that reflects their personal experiences, it isn't a testimony to the teacher's capability, not even mine.. Go and meet jayesh sir, and then decide yourself.
