Housing Society

Hi friends,

Can anyone let me know in respect of housing society/ cooperative housing society -

a). formation procedures.

b). benefits under existing laws (income tax and others).

c). formalities to be observed under various laws as regards returns and tax.

                  Also, if some of the likeminded people come together for acquiring an agricultural land for the purpose of construction of residential houses for their own living, will this way (forming a housing society or a cooperative housing society) meet their requirements. Also is their any other beneficial way of coming together and acquiring a housing society.
