can a guarantor of housing loan get a tax benefit under sec 80c and 24b for repaying loan installments?
example,
if my father owns a house for which i am the guarantor and repaying the loan instalments (as father doesnt have any other income source)
can i get a tax deductions under 80c and 24b ??

You have to be a owner as well as the borrower to claim the deduction. else it is not possible.
