Is it ok if husband claim only interest amount and wife claim only principal amount.

Principal - Wife can claim full(upto 150000) if payment was made from her account (80C) and she is owner or joint owner..
But for interest - Can claim respective part if joint ownership OR if it is not the case of joint ownership then the person who is owner can claim interest..
