1) If a residential house has been given on rent to a tenant without any agreement, is it safe to show it in Income from House Property.
2) In the above case, if agreement has been made but it has not been registered, what is the scenario?
As per my knowledge, an agreement is optional(and obviously the registration too). But please confirm.

Agreement irrelavent in the casr of IT Act. You must show your rental income weather you have agreement or not or its registration

agreement is not necessary for showing rent to it
it is deemed to be let-out in case u have not opted for one hp as self occupied as one hp is exempted from tax
