Home Loan Deduction where applicant is ceased

Hello experts
A home loan was taken by Mr.A & Mrs.A and purchased the property in their name, son of Mr &Mrs. A is co-applicant in home loan but he is not the owner of the property. Now Mr.A died and son will pay the loan, can he claim benefit of 24b and 80c?
