Difference between liability recorded at historical value and realisable value.

Historical Value - value of asset mentioned in balance sheet on that date/year end.
Realisable value - amount that shall realise from sale of that asset.
suppose u purchased a land on 2008 of value 5lakhs and the current value of this land now is 20lakhs (2018)
here 5lakh is historical value while 20 lakh is realishble value
in 2018 b/s value of land is historical
