i have hired some cars and dumpars on monthly rentel.

under which section i should deduct TDS either 194C or 194I

Since Car & dumpars comes under plant & machinery definition, TDS to be made under 194I @ 2%.

Well, if u read 43(3) plant definition includes vehicles..

Hence car & dumpers are covered under plant & machinery definition.
