A registered student may appear in Common Proficiency Test after he has appeared in the Senior Secondary Examination (10+2 examination) conducted by an examining body constituted by law in India or an examination recognised by the Central Government as equivalent thereto and has complied with such requirements as may be specified by the Council from time to time.
it means if u have already given class 12th exam u can appear in the cpt exam.
you can simply give the exam of CPT after giving the 12th exam...it doesnt matter if u r cleared in 12th or not....u just have to give exam of 12th...passing in 12th is not necessary...but however if u want to register for ipcc you should be clear in CPT as well as 12th Board....i hope your doubt is cleared now....
