If you've completed training, then no need for the signature of the principal.

So those who have completed ARTICLESHIP dont need CA sign? After filling the form they need not post also so nothing else required?

no need to post signature is not required? i think please confirm

Hi..

Please help me by letting me know if i can use the same certificate of Service that i used for May 2017 exam for Nov 2017 exam also?.. This is for CA final.

Thanks for the help.

Yes, I have the same query, for May 2017 there was a format given where the Member (not necessarily principal) would declare that he has checked that articleship is complete, based on completion form, and then he just signs. If it is blank now, it must be done on purpose by them, as it is already recorded as complete in their records.

Member CAs are not willing to sign saying 'attested' on the form, because unless it says what exactly they have checked or verified, it does not make sense for them to just sign under the form saying attested. It is not a copy of anything as such!

Is self attestation sufficient? If anyone in this thread receives any kind of confirmation from ICAI regarding this issue, could you please update? Thank you!

Dear friends, I called up several exam helplines at 0120 3054 851/ 815/813 and also spoke to Mr. B.Muralidhar, Deputy Secretary , Exams.. They have all confirmed that for for articleship completed students self attestation on the declaration will suffice...

Confirming that helplines etc have said the same thing to me. Just submitted my form with only a self declaration. Thanks to @ subhendu as well :)

Hi..my articleship got completed long back in 2012. Do I still have to furnish Certificate of Service ?

Please do reply.
