i cleared my cpt in dec '08 attempt with 152 marks

but now i am stuck in ipcc, my course was not completed in my first attempt si i didnt gave the exams..... in 2nd attempt i was individually clear in 1st group but not in aggregate...(184 out of 200)

and now its my 3rd attempt and this time am quite sure of clearing first group but not sure about 2nd group....this is the first time i will be appearing for 2 nd group....

so now my question is should i drop CA because it might take a long time to clear than usual time

and if not then will it not affect my CV??????????????

See if you clear IPCC 1st group in this attempt then your articleship begins and it doesn't matter when you clears 2nd group,because after articleship i.e,3 yrs you can give Final exams.

So if you think it takes more time because of 2nd group then leave the tension,also the group-2 of IPCE is not so hard to crack. You can easily clears group-2 during articleship period. As doing/clearing Group-2 during Articleship period doesn't waste your time and simultaneously your final's also got DUE.

no need to worry.......

dont give up as there are many students who clear the pcc in 4th or 5th attempt but they never lose hope.

so just prepare for the 1st grp very well that it will get cleared.... and also give the 2nd grp so that u get experience and get it cleared next time............

and it may be possible that u will get exempt in any exam.

Tanvi even If you drop CA it wont be any good for your CV be confident it doesnt matter If its your first attempt for Group-2 you can clear it in first attempt too.

Totally agree with nukul garg, bt u should decide tht wheather u really want to be a ca . If u have a strong determination then u will definatialy succeed. And dnt worry tht this is ur third attempt , just do ur best .At the end of day wn ur ipcc will be cleared , it may possible tht u have a much more knowledge than other who cleared in 1st attempt. So if u see the positive side u will be motivated. Just try to give ur 100 % ...

@ Archana- yes i am damn sure about CA.............i need nothing but this degree..... its like my passion....i love all the subjects......... but since its my 3rd attempt.... everyone is doubting me because final is tougher than ipcc

dnt worry tanvi, from ur wordings i cn say u will definatelly succeedd, just be sure tht u do graduation side by side, dnt give so much importance to others wording . gd luck..
